At ClearLED, we are always excited to collaborate on projects that push the boundaries of art and technology. Recently, we had the privilege of contributing to "Sculptural Rebirth 脱皮的彫刻," a captivating performance at the Vancouver Art Gallery, directed by renowned Japanese artist Tadasu Takamine.
This experimental collaboration brought together Takamine and student participants from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, exploring themes of transformation, renewal, and self-discovery. The performance symbolized shedding an old skin to embrace a new phase of life—a powerful metaphor brought to life through movement, sound, and immersive visuals.
To ensure that every attendee could fully experience the performance, our LED display was used to broadcast the live event to audiences in the gallery’s main hall. This integration of digital display technology helped enhance visibility, allowing more people to engage with the artistic expression unfolding in real time.
A special thank you to the Vancouver Art Gallery, Emily Carr University, and curator Makiko Hara for bringing this vision to life. We’re proud to support the arts and look forward to more creative collaborations in the future!
